Ktunaxa Business Certification

The Ktunaxa Nation Economic and Investment Sector is undertaking an initiative to collectively define "What is a Ktunaxa Business" and Indigenous values inherent to them .

The four main goals are:

  1. Clarity: One single and clear definition that is supported by all Ktunaxa Communities and leadership with a transparent process for certification.
  2. Self-Determination: The Ktunaxa people being the one that determines what is a Ktunaxa business.
  3. Maximization of Benefits: Ensuring each Ktunaxa business gets the most of business relationships.
  4. Promotion of Ktunaxa Culture: identifying the inherent Indigenous values of Ktunaxa businesses.
