    The first Nation AGA that I remember attending was in Tobacco Plains at Edwards Lake. I don’t remember much of the meeting because I spent most of my time swimming. I seem to remember a speaker from the Shuswap, Saul Terry, was in attendance. I don’t remember what he said, probably because I was swimming, but I have this memory of him being there. If I had to guess, he probably spoke about “Land Claims” as that was the big idea of the day. I know back then that I had no clue what was being talked about or why... Continue reading
