Calling All Ktunaxa Artists!

Are you a Ktunaxa artist looking for a creative challenge? We need you to help us design a logo for the event by July 29th, 2022.

The selected entry will win $500, and anyone that submits a logo will also receive a recognition gift.

Guidelines:

Contest open to Ktunaxa nin̓tik (citizens).
Winning submission will receive $500.00. All participants will receive a recognition gift.
The winning entry will be used for event marketing purposes (social media, newsletters, posters, printed material and possibly printed on shirts and hats).
Submissions will be evaluated by staff at the Ktunaxa Nation Council.
Design should be crisp and readable. If it is a colored submission, ensure the outlines are dark so the logo can be printed using a single color.
If you use words, they should be readable even when logo shrunk.
Digital files should be PDF, EPS or high resolution JPGs.
If you create a traditional logo (paper, canvas), you can submit the original works, or scan (300 dpi) and send the digital file via email.
If you have a cell phone, take a crisp and clear photo and send it to us via email at Economic@ktunaxa.org.

The business showcase is to promote the Ktunaxa artisans, entrepreneurs and businesses.
The logo should be business like with some indigenous ‘theme’ mixed in.
Multiple logos can be submitted.
